We are driving from Colorado to Bucerias, Nayarit in January. We usually cross in Nogales and then travel south . Is it faster to cross in Elpaso/ Juarez? Any suggestions are appreciated!

Answer: We met a lady from Colorado who lives part time in San Carlos. She said she drives through Nogales. Given that we are from California, we don’t have experience driving to Nayarit via El Paso. PO

Dennis asked in an Email: I was told I don’t need a Visa to live in Hermosillo, Mexico. Is this true?
My response: No – it isn’t true. Although the rules may have changed somewhat, it is my understanding that only Baja California allows visitors to travel as far south as San Felipe and Ensenada before requiring at least a Tourist Visa. That said, you need a Visa to live legally (not just visit) in Mexico. For more specific information visit – http://www.mexonline.com/visa.htm
